LG Manoj Sinha Visits Hazratbal Shrine, Reviews Eid-ul-Adha Arrangements

Srinagar, May 25 (PTK): Manoj Sinha on Sunday visited the revered Hazratbal Shrine to review preparations for the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Adha.

The Lieutenant Governor was accompanied by Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Mufti Reyaz ul Haq, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg, DIG Central Kashmir Range Rajiv Omprakash, SSP Srinagar G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Akshay Labroo, Municipal Commissioner Srinagar Faz Lul Haseeb and officials from various departments.

During the visit, Manoj Sinha reviewed arrangements related to water supply, sanitation, electricity and other essential facilities being put in place for smooth conduct of the festival.

He directed senior officers to ensure that all arrangements are carried out efficiently and with proper coordination to facilitate devotees during Eid-ul-Adha celebrations.

“The festival reminds us of the virtues of humility and charity, inspiring us to dedicate ourselves to the greater good of humanity. We will ensure that the celebration is not only well-organized but also truly grand, marked by devotion and festive fervor,” the Lieutenant Governor said.

Spiritual leaders, Waqf Board officials, senior police and civil administration officers, besides prominent citizens, were also present during the visit.(PTK)
