Dr Bhajan Kour Assumes Charge as Chief Medical Officer Bandipora

Bandipora, May 13 (PTK): Dr. Bhajan Kour on Tuesday formally assumed charge as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Bandipora amid a warm welcome by medical staff, officers and health employees at the CMO office.

On the occasion, officials and employees of the Health Department extended their support and expressed optimism about further strengthening healthcare services in the district under her leadership.

Addressing the gathering after assuming charge, Dr. Bhajan Kour reaffirmed her commitment towards improving the healthcare system across Bandipora district.

She said her priority would be to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and ensure quality and accessible medical services in every part of the district.

The newly appointed CMO stressed the importance of enhancing primary healthcare facilities, streamlining referral services and ensuring availability of essential medicines and adequate staff in peripheral health institutions.

She also emphasized coordinated efforts for better public healthcare delivery and efficient functioning of medical institutions across the district.(PTK)
