CM Omar Abdullah Dedicates ₹2.25 Crore Medical Equipment to Public at JLNM Hospital Srinagar
Srinagar, May 10 (PTK): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday dedicated advanced medical equipment worth ₹2.25 crore to the public at Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Hospital, aimed at strengthening critical healthcare facilities in Srinagar.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the equipment procured under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support by HDFC Bank. The newly installed facilities include an ERCP Endoscopy Machine, Ultra/Doppler Sound Machine, Tissue Processor for Histopathology and Laser Urology equipment.
During his visit, Omar Abdullah inspected various departments of the hospital including the Department of Pathology, Laboratory Department, Immunology Section, Biochemistry Section and USG Room. He also interacted with doctors, technicians and paramedical staff.
Appreciating the efforts of healthcare professionals, the Chief Minister lauded the hospital staff for their dedication and commitment towards providing quality healthcare services to the people.
He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary, Health and Medical Education Minister Sakeena Itoo, MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, Medical Superintendent of JLNM Hospital, representatives of HDFC Bank, senior doctors and other officials.(PTK)
