DIG CKR and DIG CRPF Ops Review Joint Operational Exercises in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, February 23, (PTK) In a significant move to bolster security and enhance operational synergy, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Central Kashmir, Shri Rajiv Pandey (IPS), and DIG CRPF Ops North Range Srinagar, Shri Sudhir Kumar, conducted a comprehensive review of the joint operational competence of the Special Operations Group (SOG) Ganderbal and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). The review, held yesterday, was attended by SSP Ganderbal, Shri Ragav S (IPS), along with other senior officers from the Police and CRPF.
The personnel of SOG Ganderbal and CRPF have undergone rigorous training and simulations to sharpen their operational skills and coordination. Their overall competence was meticulously assessed during this high-level visit.
The session commenced with SSP Ganderbal, Shri Ragav S (IPS), delivering a detailed presentation on the current security scenario in the district. He highlighted the joint operations undertaken by the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) and CRPF, providing insights into their effectiveness.
Addressing the joint team, DIG CKR Shri Rajiv Pandey (IPS) elaborated on recent security developments in Jammu & Kashmir. He emphasized the importance of adopting effective strategies to counter emerging threats and provided guidance to the officers. Additionally, DIG CRPF Ops North Range Srinagar, Shri Sudhir Kumar, stressed the need for strong operational synergy and heightened awareness to combat terrorism effectively.
A demonstration showcasing advanced weaponry and newly introduced gadgets used by the joint forces was also conducted. The visit concluded with a reaffirmation of the commitment to coordinated efforts in tackling security challenges and ensuring peace in the region.(PTK)
