5.4 Earthquake tremors felt in Delhi and parts of north India

SRINAGAR, (PTK) An earthquake of 5.4 magnitude hit Jammu and Kashmir and North parts of India Estimated magnitude 5.4 earthquake occurs over Northern India; Pakistan, and China European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.
As per Report, the quake occurred 18 km away from Gandoh Bhalessa village in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, at a depth of 30 km.
Strong tremors were felt in Jammu and Kashmir. The shaking was felt in other parts of north India, including national capital Delhi and its adjoining areas. Tuesday afternoon but there was no loss of life or damage to property.
As per Report 5.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Doda, J&K at 1:33 pm this afternoon.
A local from Srinagar says, “The earthquake scared school children. People in shops rushed out. It was scary. This was more intense than the tremors last week.(PTK)
