4141 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 244608, Death toll rises 3149 with fifty nine deaths

Srinagar, May 16 (PTK): Jammu and Kashmir today reported 4141 fresh positive cases of COVID, and fifty nine deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 244608.

These cases include 1690 from Jammu division and 2451 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports twenty eight new deaths, while Jammu division reports thirty one new deaths, taking the death toll to 3149 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 831 cases were reported from Srinagar, 252 from Baramulla, 320 from Budgam, 177 from Pulwama, 148 from Kupwara, 199 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 89, Ganderbal 152, Kulgam 228, Shopian 55, Jammu 625, Udhampur 192, Rajouri 237, Doda 77, Kathua 186, Samba 145, Kishtwar 41, Poonch 106 Ramban 65 and Reasi 16.

Moreover, they said, 3934 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 1185 from Jammu division and 2749 from Kashmir division.(PTK)
