Covid-19:- 90 year old man dies at SKIMS, death toll rises to 24

SRINAGAR  MAY  26(PTK)A 90 year old man from South Kashmir’s Kulgam district died at SKIMS on Tuesday taking the total death toll of Covid-19 positive patients in J&K to 24.

Medical Superintendent SKIMS Dr Farooq Jan said that a 90 year old man from Kulgam who referred from GMC Anantnag on Monday afternoon died at isolation facility of SKIMS on Tuesday morning

The patient was suffering from pneumonia besides having history of chest disease, he said, adding that soon after he was admitted his samples were taken and that came positive on Monday evening.

With his death, the death toll of covid-19 positive cases in Jammy and Kashmir has reached to 24 including 21 from Kashmir division and 3 from Jammu division
