34 yrs old man found dead in Kulgam
Kulgam (PTK): A dead body of a 34 years old man was recovered on the bank of the Vaishaw river in Kulgam district on Thursday.
Official sources told PTK that some locals spotted a dead body lying on the bank of the river near DIET college Kulgam and informed police about it.
A police team immediately reached on the spot and evacuated the body to district hospital Kulgam for medico-legal formalities including the postmortem.
Police official while confirming the incident identified the deceased as Nazir Ahmad Khan (34) son in law of Chudiya Khatana resident of Poonch.
Sources said that Nazir was missing since from last two days.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations to ascertain the cause of death has been launched.
