33-year-old critically injured in bear attack in Banihal

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR | BANIHAL |A 33-year-old man was injured after he was attacked by a bear in Banihal area of Ramban district.

An official said that the man identified as Imran Ahmad Mir son of Ab Jabbar Mir a resident of Bankoot Banihal was injured when he was attacked by the bear .

The official said that the man received injuries on his face besides mandibular fracture following which hebwas rushed to SDH Banihal.

After getting first aid at SDH Banihal, he was referred to SMHS Srinagar for advanced treatment, he said.

Meanwhile, a team of wildlife department has rushed to the spot to trace the wild bear.(PTK).
