271 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 129684, by far the biggest one day increase since November 2020

 

Death toll rises 1985 with one new death

Ganderbal, Rajouri, Kishtwar and Reasi reports no new cases

Srinagar  March, 27 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 271 fresh positive cases of COVID and one new death, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 129684

These cases include 75 from Jammu division and 196 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports One new death, While, Jammu division reports no new deaths, taking the death toll to 1985 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 118 cases were reported from Srinagar, 42 from Baramulla, 19 from Budgam, 03 from Pulwama, 06 from Kupwara, 02 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 03, Kulgam 01, Shopian 02, Jammu 56, Udhampur 01,Doda 02, Kathua 07, Samba 03, Poonch 02 and Ramban 04

Moreover, they said, 138 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 13 from Jammu division and 125 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
