BJP spokesperson for J&K Altaf Thakur on Tuesday said at least 23 BJP workers were killed in different militants attacks in Jammu and Kashmir in last two years.
He said that 23 BJP workers including some leaders were killed by militants in seperate attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that in last one year seven BJP workers were killed by militants in last one year in Kulgam district alone.
Pertinently in last ten days, four persons including a minor were killed in three separate attacks on BJP workers/ leaders.
On Tuesday afternoon BJP constituency incharge Javaid Ahmad Dar son of Mohammed Abdullah Dar was shot dead in Brazloo Kulgam.
Thakur said that frequent killing of BJP workers is matter is matter of grave concern.
He said that it is matter of serious concern and it is high time for police to book culprits and provide safe and secure accomodation to BJP workers and activists in South Kashmir.
He said that measures need to be taken to prevent attacks on BJP leaders.(PTK).
