157 new COVID positive cases reported in J&K, tally moves to 128836 Death toll rises 1983 with 02 new deaths

Ganderbal, Shopian, Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch and Ramban reports no new cases

Srinagar March, 23  (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported 157 fresh positive cases of COVID and two new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 128836.

These cases include 52 from Jammu division and 105 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports two new deaths, while Jammu division reports no new deaths, taking the death toll to 1983 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 56 cases were reported from Srinagar, 23 from Baramulla, 14 from Budgam, 03 from Pulwama, 03 from Kupwara, 03 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 01, Kulgam 02, Jammu 39, Udhampur 03, Rajouri 02, Kathua 05, Samba 02 and Reasi 01.

Moreover, they said, 81 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 11 from Jammu division and 70 from Kashmir division. (PTK)
