14th bn SSB organises medical civic programme in Nagbal Budgam

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR  SRINAGAR:-14th Battalion SSB on Saturday organised a medical civic programme in Nagbal area of Charar-i-Shareef in Budgam.

An official said that 14″ Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Nagam (Jammu & Kashmir) has organized a Medical Civic Action (MCA) Programme at Village Nagbal, Block- Charar-l-Sharief, District-Budgam inaugurated by Sh. B.C. Joshi, Commandant 14th Bn SSB along with Sh. T.S. Khongsai, Deputy Commandant, 14th Bn SSB to provide free of cost medical assistance to the locals at their doorsteps. Civil Doctors of Block Hospital SDH Charar-l-Sharief, District Budgam and Doctor of 14th Bn SSB & their team treated and provided free medicines to 450 local villagers including 200 male, 100 female and 150 children have been treated.

Dr. Firdous (Medical Officer), Dr. Nazish(Medical Officer) Dr. Shabir Ahmad (General Preatitioner) Dr. Iqbal(General Practitioner) and Dr. Bilal (Ayurvedic) Block Hospital Charar-l-Sharief, and Dr. Tarun Samyal, Assistant Commandant (Medical Officer) of 14th Bn SSB and his team have conducted medical check-up of local villagers of village-Nagbal, and Yusmarg provided them free medicines and prescription to improve their health, he said

Shri Bashir Ahmed, Sarpanch vill- Nagbal and local villagers thanked and appreciated the efforts of SSB and requested to conduct more Medical Civic Action Programme in their area, he added.
