118 BN CRPF organises awareness camp on international Day against drug de addiction in Gund Ganderbal

Presss Trust of Kashmir |Ganderbal: Awareness Programme on International Day Against Drug Abuse And Illicit Trafficking By 118 BN, CRPF Ganderbal on Saturday

 

 

An official said that on the occasion of International Day Against Drug Abuse And Illicit Trafficking, an awareness programme was organized in 118 Bn, CRPF HQ, Gund.

 

He said that Dr. Satyaveer Singh Verma, Commandant with Officers/Jawans of 118 Bn, BJP worker Miss Ruheena Shahzad and 50 civilians of local areas were present in this awareness programme.

 

 

He said that people of local areas have been awared about addiction of drug abuse and disadvantages of addiction of drug like opium, brown sugar and alcohol.

 

He further added that in this awareness programme, Commandant-118 Bn stressed not to become addict of these bad things like drugs/alcohol and must be avoid to take these things.

 

He suggested, firstly it is the responsibility of parents that they should refrain their kids from drugs/alcohol as youth can take these things in rifts/quarrels between parents at home, bad company of friends, anxiety and depression etc. Then, secondary responsibility is to be carried out by the police that they should stop/break the chain of supply of drugs in Kashmir.

 

Illicit Trafficking of drugs must be stopped at ground level so that drugs can be out of reach of youth of Kashmir, he added.

 

This awareness programme was organized at 118 Bn, CRPF HQ, Gund purposely, official said.(PTK).
