100 ambulances, 70 health facilities available for Yatra in Kashmir:- Director Health Services Kashmir

 

Says mobile health facilities available to tackle any emergency

Srinagar June 25 (PTK) Directorate of Health Services Kashmir on Saturday said that there are 70 health facilities and 100 ambulances available for Yatra this year.

According to PTK, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather Director Health services Kashmir in a press conference said that we have kept 70 facilities from Jawahar Tunnel to holy cave for both the sides Chandanwari and Baltal which includes six base hospitals, medical aid centres, emergency aid centers and 26 oxygen booths.

In addition to that we have 11 on route facilities, 17 other facilities which have been kept alert and more than 100 critical and basic care ambulances , he said, adding that, all the hospitals in the vicinity will have emergency response system in place and have been equipped will all facilities to work round the clock and adequate staff.

Two dedicated 70 bedded hospitals at Baltal and Chandanwari and on route we have medical facilities available in less than every two kilometres, he said, adding movable oxygen booths and movable emergency system have been kept available besides mobile booths to tackle any situation.

We have kept ICU beds available and oxygen manifold is available on both sides and the 1500 staff members are being deployed there to work in three shifts and additional residential accommodations have been available at all levels, he said.

Isolation facilities have kept have been also available everywhere, he said while requesting Yatris to keep warm clothes with them and symptomatic persons should avoid and whenever they feel issue they must contact doctors available there.

He said that we are very serious about Covid issues and decisions in this regard will be taken in consultation with higher ups. (PTK)
