Srinagar, 14 Dec (PTK) : A pall of gloom descended upon yachama kangan area of Ganderbal district after body of a Policeman, killed in Zewan Srinagar attack reached home on Tuesday.

According to Press trust of Kashmir (PTK) Body of Policeman Rameez ahmad baba S/O Mohammad Amin baba of Yachama Kangan, who was among 3 cops killed by Suspected militants in zewan Srinagar attack last night, reached home amid sobs and tears.ko

Witnessed said (PTK) that hundreds of mourners from different areas of Kangan belt including men and women and children thronged in Yachama the native village of the slain cop.

Amid sobs and tears, body of Rameez ahmad baba reached his home this morning and laid to rest in his ancestral grave yard,Rameez has left behind 3 sisters, a brother and elderly ailing father.

According to Family Rameez was earning only for his
ailing father and three sisters,
We are stunned and Shocked that we lost our brave son for a cause and it will definitely take sometime to recover our loss as he was the lone bread earner of our family.

An official told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that Wreath laying event for slain cop was held at District police line Ganderbal.

Notably, Three police cops were killed and 11 others sustained injuries after suspected militants opened fired at the vehicle of 9th battalion Indian Reserve Police (IRP) at Zewan area of Srinagar city last evening.(PTK)
