Youth & Landlord Cheated in Nagbal Ganderbal Hospital Scam
Ganderbal,Sep 8(PTK):A shocking employment scam has been unearthed in Nagbal Ganderbal, where fraudsters posing under the name of VHRA Swasthya Kendra (Vocal Health & Research Association, Delhi, India) duped unemployed youth and cheated a local landlord.
How the Scam Worked
The accused lured unemployed youngsters by offering jobs at a fake “Swasthya Kendra,” charging them lakhs of rupees as appointment and security fees. The victims were provided with forged employment deeds, which promised:
* Monthly salaries between ₹10,000 – ₹30,000
* 9-year job tenure with strict non-competition clauses
* Salary hikes and bond agreements
At the same time, Mohmad Sultan Magray, S/o Abdul Salaam Magray, R/o Nagabal Hazratbal, was deceived into handing over his commercial complex for the so-called hospital. The fraudsters promised him ₹20,000 monthly rent, with a 12% increase after 6 months. Sultan even took a bank loan to develop the complex, but the fraudsters never paid him.
Fresh Troubles for Sultan
The victims of the fake job scheme are now pressuring Sultan, saying that since the building belongs to him, he must repay them the money that the fraudsters took.
Adding to his troubles, a restaurant owner—believing Sultan was responsible—took ₹10,000 from him, saying: “The complex is yours, so you should pay us.”
Speaking exclusively to Press Trust of Kashmir on video, Sultan broke down the ordeal:
“I was promised rent of ₹20,000 a month, which would increase every six months. I even took a loan for the complex. Now the youth and even local businesses are coming to me for money that the fraudsters took. I am a victim myself, but they are dragging me into this scam.”
