Principal DIET Rajouri inaugurates Five Days Capacity Building Programme for FLN

Press Trust of Kashmir | Rajouri :-Today on 19-04-2022, DIET Rajouri launched the Five days Capacity Building Training Programme of Zonal Level Resource Persons for FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) under NIPUN BHARAT Mission. Ninty Zonal Level Resource persons brought from fifteen educational zones of the District participated in the programme. The NIPUN Bharat Mission aims at achieving the goal of proficiency in foundational literacy and numeracy for every child by the age of 8 or grade 3. The aim of FLN is to ensure holistic development and effective learning of children in a joyful manner with the help of play based, storytelling, activity based and art integrated approaches. The training programme was inaugurated by Mtr. Hamida Begum Principal DIET Rajouri, who in her inaugural speech emphasized about the need and importance of FLN for achieving the desired learning competencies in students. Mr. Tanweer Ahed Mir , HOD DIET Rajouri also talked about the aim of FLN in building strong learning foundation for lifelong learning. The session continued with Introductory lecture on FLN by Mr. Imran Khan, Lecturer. Mrs. Geeta Bharati DRG in her session deliberated on Objectives of FLN and Vidyapravesh. The training programme was coordinated by Mrs. Anamika Sr. Lect and Mrs.Tabasum, Lect. and Technical support was provided by Mr. Ayaz Raina National ICT Awardee Teacher.:-PTK.
