Four Booked for Impersonating Cyber Crime Officials, Cheating Batmaloo Man of ₹50,000.

Srinagar, Nov 05 (PTK) :(PTK)Police have registered a case against four persons for allegedly impersonating Cyber Crime Department officials and cheating a man of ₹50,000 in the Batmaloo area of Srinagar.
According to officials, a complaint was received from a man alleging that four individuals had approached him while posing as officers of the Cyber Crime Department. The accused allegedly misused their false identity to fraudulently obtain ₹50,000 from the complainant.
Taking cognisance of the complaint, police registered FIR No. 139/2026 under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Police Station Batmaloo.
Further investigation into the matter is underway to establish the facts and ascertain the involvement of the accused.(PTK).
