DC Kupwara chairs meeting of DLCLC

Directs officers for timely issuance of NOCs

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KUPWARA, AUGUST 2: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting of District Level Committee for Land Conversion (DLCLC) to review the cases pertaining to conversion of agricultural land into non-agriculture purposes.

As many as 14 cases were put up for discussion; of which 1 case was approved by the committee while 2 cases were reserved, 1 case was rejected and 10 cases are under process for NOCs from line departments.

On the occasion, the DC directed the concerned officers for issuance of the pending NOCs within 10 days. He asked them for the holding of onsite inspection of the cases as and when the NOCs are issued.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kupwara; Executive Officer, Municipal Committee Handwara, District Officer PCB, concerned Tehsildars, Executive Engineers and other concerned attended the meeting.
