DC Kishtwar chairs meeting to finalise District Skill Dev plan for FY-2022-23
Stresses to intensify Panchayat level awareness of Youth for imparting job oriented skills
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KISHTWAR, NOVEMBER 11: Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav, today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to finalise the District Skill Development Plan (DSDP) for FY-2022-23.
The meeting was informed that scores of new courses have been introduced in the plan this year to meet the aspirations of the unemployed youth. It was further informed that a maximum number of unemployed youth would be provided training in different trades this year.
Laying special focus on upskilling of the youth, the DC asked the concerned officers to explore new modalities to hone the ability of the talented youth of the district by taking skill development to grassroots level.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed to intensify awareness among Youth at Panchayat level for imparting job oriented skills to youth.
Officers of various line departments were asked to verify data with the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellow Pranay Kumar under mentorship of AD Employment Amit Kumar, so that plan may be executed to benefit maximum Youth of Kishtwar.
Stressing upon the concerned officers to saturate the eligible Youth with job oriented courses, he asked them to collaborate with the NHPC, companies involved in construction of HEP projects, ITI, RSETI and Polytechnic College for effective implementation of DSDP-2022-23.
