New Delhi, Aug 9: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday called upon the citizens of India to participate in the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, aiming to make it a memorable mass movement. As part of this initiative, the Prime Minister replaced his profile picture on social media with the Indian national flag and encouraged everyone to follow suit.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Modi stated, “As this year’s Independence Day approaches, let’s again make Har Ghar Tiranga a memorable mass movement. I am changing my profile picture and I urge you all to join me in celebrating our Tricolour by doing the same. And yes, do share your selfies on harghartiranga.com.”
The campaign encourages people across the nation to display the national flag at their homes and other establishments in the lead-up to Independence Day on August 15. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is actively mobilizing its members nationwide to ensure the campaign’s success.
The “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative aims to instill a sense of patriotism and unity among citizens as they collectively celebrate the country’s independence.
