Mirwaiz North Kashmir Pays Tribute to Doctors on National Doctors’ Day

Srinagar, July 01: National Doctor’s Day is a significant occasion that pays tribute to the selfless service and invaluable contributions of doctors in India, thereby serving as a reminder of the crucial role they play in safeguarding the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
This is what Mirwaiz, North Kashmir, Hassan Firdousi, has stated in his handout issued today to media on the occasion of National Doctors Day.

In his Tribute to Doctors’ Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi said, “1st July *National Doctors’ Day* is a significant occasion for commemorating and thanking physicians, it is crucial to remember that showing support and thanks for them should extend beyond one day. Prioritizing preventative healthcare, valuing their knowledge, and lobbying for improved healthcare facilities can have a long-term impact on their lives and the healthcare system as a whole.It is a day to recognize their dedication, hard work, and commitment to maintaining the country’s health and welfare.”

Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi said the theme chosen for the celebration of National Doctors’ Day in 2024 is “Healing Hands, Caring Hearts,” which emphasises the dedication, compassion, and empathy that doctors bring to their medical practice, as well as the pivotal role they play in saving and improving lives.

“Today and every day, we extend a heartfelt thank you to all doctors who care for every patient equitably,” reads the statement of the Mirwaiz.
