Heavy Rains Cause Waterlogging in Tral Town, Residents Face Difficulty

Pulwama, 29 June: Tral Payeen and Tral Bala experienced heavy rainfall on Saturday, resulting in waterlogging in the areas. The rainwater overflowed the existing drains, causing difficulties for drivers, shopkeepers, and pedestrians, with locals urging authorities to intervene and address the issue.

As per witnesses, The heavy downpour flooded the roads, making it challenging for people to commute, while Shopkeepers faced hardships as water entered their shops, damaging goods and furnishings.

The locals demanded that higher authorities take immediate action to address the issue, & emphasized the need for improved drainage systems to prevent such incidents in the future.

The residents urged the authorities to investigate the matter and provide a long-term solution to the waterlogging problem.
