Soldier Injured in Accidental Grenade Blast in Samba

SAMBA : A soldier was seriously injured in an accidental grenade blast inside a camp in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials reported.

The incident occurred when the sepoy was handling a training grenade that unexpectedly exploded in his hand inside the camp at Diyani.

Following the accident, the injured trooper was immediately admitted to the Military Hospital in Samba, where he is currently receiving medical treatment. Further details on his condition have not yet been released.
