Security Forces Clash with Terrorists in Doda

DODA  :– A fierce encounter erupted today in the Tanta area of Doda district as security forces clashed with terrorists. The Army’s 4 Rashtriya Rifles (4RR) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint operation early this morning, acting on specific intelligence inputs regarding terrorist presence.

Sources  told news agency Press Trust of Kashmir that, during the intense exchange of gunfire, a member of the Special Operations Group (SOG) sustained injuries and was promptly evacuated to a nearby medical facility. His condition remains stable.

The area has been cordoned off as the security forces continue their operation to neutralize the remaining terrorists. Authorities have urged residents to stay indoors and cooperate with the ongoing efforts to ensure their safety.
