Four Government Employees Sacked for Alleged Terrorist Links
JAMMU, June 8: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has terminated the services of four government employees due to their alleged involvement in anti-national activities and links with terrorist organizations.
The dismissed employees include two police constables, a teacher, and an employee from the Jal Shakti department. The administration has stated that their actions were in violation of national security protocols and justified their termination under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India. This provision allows the government to remove employees in the interest of national security without the need for an inquiry.
This move follows a similar action taken last year when the Jammu and Kashmir government terminated the services of another four employees, including a doctor, a police constable, a teacher, and a lab bearer in the higher education department, for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities.
The administration has reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards any form of anti-national activity within its ranks, emphasizing the importance of maintaining security and integrity in the region.
