Tourist Slips into Nallah Sindh While Taking Photographs

Ganderbal : A tourist from Rohtak, Haryana, slipped into the gushing waters of Nallah Sindh at Kullan area of Ganderbal district in central Kashmir on Thursday afternoon while taking photographs near the river, officials reported.

 

The tourist, identified as 41-year-old Sunil Singh, son of Bani Singh, has not yet been rescued. According to the officials, teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), local police, and other officials have promptly arrived at the scene and have launched an intensive search operation to locate and rescue him.

 

Efforts are ongoing, and authorities remain hopeful for a positive outcome. The incident highlights the dangers of approaching fast-moving water bodies and the importance of exercising caution in such areas.
