Hajj 2024: Tears and Prayers as Pilgrims Begin Journey at Hajj House Bemina

 

Srinagar, May 9 – The Hajj House Bemina in Srinagar witnessed poignant scenes on Thursday as the first batch of pilgrims embarked on their sacred journey amidst tearful farewells and heartfelt prayers.

 

With an air of spiritual anticipation, pilgrims gathered at the Hajj House, marking the beginning of their pilgrimage. The emotional atmosphere resonated with the deep significance of the journey ahead.

 

According to Dr. Shujhat Quershi, Executive Officer of the J&K Haj Committee, a total of 642 pilgrims are scheduled to depart from the Srinagar International Airport today. The departure will be organized in two flights, with 322 pilgrims on each flight.

 

Families bid farewell to their loved ones, enveloping them in prayers as they set forth on this significant journey. The second batch of pilgrims is expected to report later in the day, continuing the pilgrimage tradition that holds profound importance for millions around the world.

 

This year, a total of 7,008 Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir will embark on this holy pilgrimage, reinforcing the enduring spiritual connection that transcends boundaries and unites hearts in devotion.
