Terror Hideout Uncovered in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch District
Security forces in a joint operation have unearthed a terror hideout nestled within a forest in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district. The operation led to the discovery of seven rusted improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and a wireless set inside a cave at Dara Sangla in the Surankote area.
Blankets and other materials were also found at the hideout, indicating its sustained use over time. According to officials told Press Trust of Kashmir, the hideout is believed to have been utilized by terrorists operating in the region around two decades ago.
While no arrests have been made yet, authorities have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. A case has been registered, and security forces remain vigilant in their efforts to ensure the safety and security of the area.
