Residential house damaged in fire incident in Gund Ganderbal

GANDERBAL: A residential house in the Gund Kangan locality of central Kashmir’s district Ganderbal faced severe damage as it succumbed to a ferocious fire on Wednesday evening, as confirmed by local officials (PTK)
The fire rapidly spread, unleashing heavy flames that soon enveloped the entire house, leaving destruction in its wake. Despite swift response efforts, the residence sustained complete damage, and the authorities are yet to determine the cause of the fire.
A member of the Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) operation team shared that they promptly swung into action, successfully rescuing a family from the perilous situation. Fortunately, no injuries or loss of life were reported during the rescue mission.
The combined forces of firefighters, J&K police, local authorities, and the 34 Assam Rifles Gund are tirelessly working to gain control over the flames and mitigate further damage.
