Indian Army Chief General visit the Rajouri secto, Review ongoing counter-terrorist operations

This visit comes after the
heavily armed terrorists ambushed two Army vehicles near Thanandi in the Rajouri sector on Thursday last week on December 21, four Indian army soldiers were killed and three were injured in a terrorist attack.

On his visit, the Army Chief is expected to receive comprehensive briefings from the 16 Corps and the Rashtriya Rifles regarding the current state of counter-terrorist operations and the measures being implemented to strengthen the counter-terrorism framework in the area.
