The picturesque Lolab Valley, nestled in the heart of the Kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir, has been honored with the prestigious ‘Best Offbeat Destination’ award in India. The crowning achievement took center stage at a grand ceremony in New Delhi, affirming Lolab as the epitome of love and beauty.
The announcement reverberated with joy, drawing congratulations from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who lauded Lolab Valley on clinching the Gold Award for being the ‘Best Offbeat Destination’ in India. “Congratulations Lolab! Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory continues to soar in tourism, infrastructure development, and overall growth,” expressed Lieutenant Governor Sinha in a social media post, tagging Secretary Tourism Syed Abid Rasheed Shah.
In response, Syed Abid Rasheed Shah proudly declared, “Ecstatic to announce Lolab as the ‘Best Offbeat Destination’ in India. J&K tourism is ascending to new heights under the adept guidance of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.”
