Candlelight Protests held in Ganderbal, Against Denounces Innocent Killings

 

Scores of people gathered in Kangan and Gund town on Tuesday evening to hold a peaceful Candlelight protest against the recent innocent killing in Anantnag

 

 

According to News Agency Press Trust of Kashmir, the protest, organized in response to the targeted killing of an individual employed at an amusement park in Anantnag, aimed to condemn the senseless act of violence and call for justice.

 

“The tragic incident, left the community in shock and mourning. The victim, a hardworking individual known for his dedication and commitment to his work, was targeted in what appears to be an act of senseless violence. This act has not only claimed an innocent life but has also sent shockwaves through the entire region.”

 

Moreover, “the candlelight protest, held at Kangan and Gund area of Central kashmir, drew a significant turnout of concerned citizens from all walks of life. United in their grief and determination, the participants lit candles and held placards bearing messages of peace, justice, and unity,” the reports said with adding that the peaceful nature of the gathering served as a powerful reminder of the community’s resilience and determination to seek justice through peaceful means.
