Anantnag gun-battle: Authorities suspend Train service

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Authorities today suspended train service between Srinagar and Banihal in wake of the ongoing encounter between militants and government forces in this south Kashmir district.

Train service on Srinagar-Banihal line has been suspended as a ‘precautionary measure’ in wake of the ongoing encounter in Muniward area here, official sources said.

A fierce encounter is underway in Muniward area here, where two militants, including a top Hizb commander are believed to be trapped.
