Tourist dies, four others injured in Bijbehara road accident

SRINAGAR (PTK) :- A tourist from Kolkata lost his life while four others were injured in a road accident in Bijbehara area of Anantnag on Tuesday.

An official said that an accident took place near Arwani crossing along national highway in Bijbehara in which one tourist vehicle was hit by a truck.

In the incident one woman namely Karuma sardar (35) resident of Kolkata died on spot and body has been shifted to SDH Bijbehra for other medico-legal formalities, he said.

Four others were injured in the incident who have been refered to GMC anantnag, he said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.(PTK)
