J&K special investigation unit attaches house of 1 accused involved in militant activities in Anantang
SRINAGAR (PTK):- Police on Monday said that its State Investigation Unit attached a house of an accused involved in militant activities in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official said that SIU in presence of Executive Megistrate attached the house of one accused namely Mohd Ishaq Malik son of Mohd Saifullah Malik resident of Dhanwetehpora Kokernag who was allegedly involved in the militant activities was attached by the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) Anantnag under section 25 UAP Act.
The accused is involved in case FIR No. 103/2022 U/S 307 IPC, 7/27 Arms Act 18,20,23,38 UAP Act of Police station Kokernag, he said adding, the accused is presently lodged in District Jail Anantnag.
SIU went to the specific location under a posse of security men and pasted the notice on the house in the presence of Local Sarpanches, Panches and Chowkidars.
According to the notice, the owner of the house have been restrained to ‘transfer, lease out, dispose off, change its nature or deal with the said property in any manner without the permission of designated authority. (PTK)
