H&ME constitutes committee to identify illegal appointments in health department 

 

 

Director Finance H&ME to be chairman of the committee

 

Srinagar:- Health and Medical Education Department has constituted a committee to identify the illegal appointments in the department.

 

According to an order issued by Secretary health and medical education department, Bhupinder Kumar, Director Finance will be chairman of the committee and committee has been directed to submit report within a period of 30 days.

 

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of the committee to monitor the exercise of identifying/ revisiting the illegal appointments in Health Department as reported by Audit and Inspection Department and all other illegal appointments and take a policy decision once for all to settle the issue by applying a common yard stick to 2274 employees and also take a decision against the officers/officials, who were involved in the illegal appointments in the Health Department.” Reads an order.

 

As per order Director Finance, Health & Medical Education Department will be Chairman of the committee while as additional Secretary to the Government, Health & Medical Member Education Department (HRM),

Additional Secretary Department (Law),Health & Medical Education Department, Under Secretary to the Government Health and Medical Education Department (HRM) and Section Officer, Health & Medical Education Department (HRM)will be members of the committee.

 

“The committee shall submit its report within 30 days from the issuance of the order.” It reads further.
