Rusted grenade found, defused in Bandipora

Srinagar February, 14 (PTK) A rusted grenade was spotted in the Manzpora orchards of Aloosa area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official said that after receiving information about the grenade, a joint team of the Army’s 26 Assam rifles and police rushed to the spot, along with a bomb disposal squad, and destroyed the grenade by the bomb.

He said that there was no damage in the incident and further investigation has been taken up. (PTK)
