Six houses gutted in Srinagar fire mishap
Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Dec 27:- Several houses were gutted in a massive blaze at Kunrache locality in Dalgate area of Srinagar
An official said hat a fire broke out of a residential house and within no time it engulfed nearby houses.
He said that in the incident six residential houses belonging to Mudasir Ahmad Matta son of Abdul Khaliq, Ghulam Qadir Matta son of late Mohammad Sidiq, Ghulam Mohammad Matta son of Mohammad Abdullah, Zahoor Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rahim, Mohd Sidiq Matta son of Ghulam Ahmad and Tabasum Mehnaz daughter of Mohammad Saleem suffered damage.
He said that timely action prevented the fire from spreading further in the congested area and there was no injury in the incident.
He said that cause of fire is being ascertained while further investigation is going on.
Meanwhile, locals have demanded compensation for affected families.
