Jamaat property seized in Ganderbal

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar:- A property Jamaat e Islami were attached in Kangan area of Ganderbal district on Saturday.

An official sources said that so far SIA team accompanied by SDPO , SHO & Tehsildaar kangan seized Al Furqan darasgah of JEI at kangan

Also seized the readymade shop at main market kangan belonging to JeI.

“By the orders of DM, Ganderbal, this property of Jamaat-e-Islami Notified as Unlawful Association falling in village Kangan under Khasra No 2520/1482/496 min measuring 01 Marla 7 Sirsai has been notifiedunder Section 8 of UAP) Act in Case FIR No: 17/2019 U/S 10, 11, 13UA (P) Act of P/S Batmaloo under investigation with SIA J&K.” Official said.

“Occupant of this property and the general public, is informed that this property has been put under restrictions including usage. Any violation of this order will attract penal provision of Law.” He said .
