Medical camp in remembrance of Bipin Rawat, held in Kangan
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR DEC 09:- A medical camp in remembrance of late Gen Bipin Rawat was held at Sub division Kangan on Friday.
An official said that in continuation with its endeavour to provide the necessary assistance the locals, Wussan Battalion organised a Medical Camp in collaboration with Borderless World Foundation and in Remembrance of Late Gen Bipin Rawat.
The event aimed at providing medical care and spreading awareness about the healthy lifestyle amongst the locals.
A total of 210 locals to include people all age groups and gender from the nearby villages received medical aid during the camp, he said.
The medical team carried out medical check ups, provided the villagers with basic medical assistance, administered essential medical supplies, he added.

Medical Specialists who were present includeDr Rajendra Warad, Orthopaedic, Dr Arun kumar PawarPediatrician, Dr Mahendra Waghere MD Medicine, Dr Jitendra Medhne Family Physician, Dr Sujit Viswas General Physician and r Snehal Magar Gynecology
The medical camp provided the much needed medical assistance to the locals, who thanked the Indian Army for organizing the camp, he said.
