DDC Re-polls:- NC backed candidate wins Drugmulla seat, AP backed candidate wins Hajin A

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Dec 08,:- Independent candidate Advocate Aamina Majeed backed by NC has won DDC election in Drugmulla constituency while candidate backed by Apni party has won Hajin A seat.

Aamina secured a total of 3259 votes against her nearest rival candidate of Peoples Conference Shabnam Rehman who got 3220 votes, Apni Party candidate Hameeda Begum secured 1474, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Shakeela Akhter got 877, Shabroz Hassan from INC 746, Rifat Jan Independent 612, Rafiqa Bano Independent 123, Hafeeza Begum Independent 62, Gulshan Begum Independent 34 and Saima Begum Independent 28.

While in Hajin A Naza Begum, believed to have received support from Altaf Bukhari led Apni Party, secured 2606. Bano is followed by Peoples Conference candidate Ateeqa Bano who got 2283 votes. On the other hand Kulsooma Begum of Bharatiya Janata Party has secured 387 votes and Independent candidate Zahida Begum 315.
