4 days on, Kangan market reels under darkness as transformer develops technical snag

Press Trust Of Kashmir Ganderbal Dec 08:- Part of kangan market in Ganderbal district reels under darkness aa transformer in the area has developed technical snag.
Locals along with shopkeepers said that the transformer developed technical snag before 4 days in the market, however, it hasn’t been reinstalled yet
They said that since last four days their transformer is defunct due to which they were reeling under darkness.
It has developed snag around four days before and has been taken to workshop but hasn’t been repaired yet, Mohammad Jabbar a local resident said.
He said that government has increasing fee as per their will but have failed to upgrade infrastructure and provide any relief to the consumers.
Locals said that they have been raising this issue in front of concerned higher officials but to no avail.
The locals demanded that government must look into the matter at an earliest and install transformer again so that locals can heave a sigh of relief.
They said that in absence of transformer, their business is getting badly effected.
Meanwhile, AEE concerned Farooq Ahmad said that transformer will be installed today evening.:-PTK.
