DDC Polls:- Counting of votes begin at Drugmulla, Hajin

Neck to neck contest expected between NC, PC

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Dec 08:- Amid tight security, the counting of votes for the re-poll of DDC elections in two constituencies including Hajin-A and Drugmulla began on Thursday morning.

An official said that amid tight security arrangements counting has begun for both Hajin A and Drugmulla seats.

The official further said that the counting exercise will be recorded by CCTV cameras and will be overseen by observers also.

Notably, around 43% voter turnout was recorded at these DDC constituencies as per official figures 53.33% turnout was recorded in Hajin-A, while 32.73% was witnessed in Drugmula.

It is being believed that there will be neck to neck contest between NC and PC.
