DC Ramban flags off group of students for trekking expedition  

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, DECEMBER 07:  Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam today flagged off a group of students to Patnitop for trekking expedition.

CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal, ACD Ashok Singh, DYSSO, Dharamveer Singh, and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

The six day Trekking expedition camp is being organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports Ramban. As many as 50 students from six different education zones of district Ramban are participating in the expedition.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that such types of events provide the students an opportunity to understand their ability, patience, and weakness and encourage them to improve their skills which would help them in their future.

While interacting with the participants, the DC impressed upon them to avail this opportunity to shape their personalities as good sportsmen as well as responsible citizens to lead the society.

He directed the DYSSO to provide adequate facilities to the participants besides imparting trekking skills and Moral thoughts to them.

The DYSSO informed that during the six day Trekking camp, the students will explore the areas of Patnitop.
