Foreign JeM militant killed in Shopian encounter

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Nov 11:- A foreign militant has been killed in an encounter broke out between security forces and militants at Kaprin area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.

An official said that a joint of team of police, Army and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched search operation in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the party, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter.

He said that during exchange of fire one militant was killed who has been identified as Kamran Bhai.

“One FT of JeM Militant outfit killed, identified as Kamran Bhai @ Hanees who was active in Kulgam-Shopian area. Search is still going on.” Kashmir Police zone tweeted while quoting ADGP Kashmir.
