JeM militant killed, solider, two civilian injured in Kulgam encounter

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KULGAM SEP 27Kulgam,:- A Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) militant was killed, while an army soldier and two civilians were injured in an encounter in Batapora village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
An official said that encounter broke out in Batapora village this evening and in the ensuing encounter a Pakistani militant identified as Abu Hurarah of JeM outfit was killed, while an army soldier and two civilians were injured and they have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.

“Killed #terrorist has been identified as Abu Hurarah, a foreign #Pakistani terrorist linked with proscribed terror outfit JeM. Incriminating materials, arms & ammunition including AK rifle recovered,” police tweeted.
“01 Army soldier & 02 civilians got injured in the ongoing #encounter. All the 03 injured shifted to hospital for treatment. #Operation going on. Further details shall follow,” police tweeted earlier.
