SWD Kishtwar organises awareness programme on Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 10: The District Social Welfare Department Kishtwar today organised a public awareness programme here at Bun Astan area to educate the locals about Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan.

 Held on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devash Yadav, the event was supervised by District Social Welfare Officer, Zubair Ahmed.

More than 30 women of the area, besides the Ward Member, Anganwari Workers and Helpers of the nearby Anganwari Centres attended the program. The participants were educated about the Drug Abuse menace by the Superintendent Social Welfare Department   Shanawaz Ahmed.

   Meanwhile, the participants were also given knowledge of several ongoing schemes of the Social Welfare Department.

  The participants pledged to make district Kishtwar free from drugs with the active support of District Administration, police and civil society.
