 Block level Rapid Response Teams formed in Ramban; helpline set up to aid cattle rearers

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 23: Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Ramban, Bharat Bhushan Raina today constituted block level Rapid Response Teams and issued an advisory for the farmers to tackle the situation arised due to Lumpy Skin Disease among the dairy animals.

The CAHO informed that dedicated Helpline numbers have been set up to help the livestock rearing community in the district. He further informed that some suspected cases of Lumpy Skin Disease have been reported in the district Ramban.

“The livestock rearing community can call on toll free number 18001807205 or 1962 for any queries or help related to Lumpy Skin Disease. Public can also seek help from the RRTs constituted in each block or from the District Level Control Room,” he added.
